One person was killed when his mobile home was demolished. One house had its windows blown out of it. A shed lost its roof. Two mobile homes and one house were damaged. A horse was killed in the storm. Numerous trees were blown down.
A 5' X 7' shed was blown down and moved at least 250 feet.Five mobile homes suffered roof damage with one of the homes losing its roof. An underpinning from under a trailer was blown down. A swing set was turned over and split in two.Some shingles were blown off a roof. Many trees were blown down.
Straight line winds knocked down some trees between Thaxton and Toccopola. Also in Toccopola, a shed was blown down and a gas tank overturned. Several homes also lost shingles. One home had carport and porch damage. In Buchannan, trees fell on a few homes in a subdivision. In addition, some trees fell, 1 mile west of Pontotoc.
