Along the leading edge of an intense outflow boundary, a gustnado developed and caused damage to a barn and a corn field. This gustnado was witnessed tearing the roof off a barn and laying down corn in a field before it dissipated.
An 80 mph wind gust was reported in the rear flank downdraft from the supercell storm which produced the long track tornado. The storm chasers were positioned along US Highway 61, just north of the Warren/Issaquena County line.
