A intensifying supercell thunderstorm produced a swath of quarter to baseball sized hail. Hamburg was the main community to be impacted by this storm as it tracked east-northeast across northwest Franklin County. The supercell continued to produce large hail as it tracked into and across southeast Jefferson County.
A swath of large hail, mainly between quarters and hen egg size, fell across south-central and southeast Franklin County. The largest hail fell in and around the Community of Little Springs. Here, hen egg sized hail occurred.
A large supercell thunderstorm produced a swath of quarter to golf ball sized as it tracked from South-Central Franklin county to East-Central Franklin county near McCall Creek. Just 2 miles E of McCall Creek, the golf ball sized hail was reported covering the ground.
