There were additional reports of large hail, up to quarter size, that was measured across eastern Blue Earth County. However, there was probably hail much larger based on similar reflectivity that produced up to baseball size hail over the northwest part of Blue Earth County. However, this area had no reports of larger hail stones.
There was a large swath of very large hail, up to 2.5 inches in diameter, that fell from Lake Crystal, southeast toward Garden City, Rapidan, and Good Thunder. There was also vegetation damage that was associated with the hail.
