A tree fell on a home on Chatsworth Drive in Laplace. Another tree was blown into the street in the 1900 block of Williamsburg Drive. Power lines fell into a tree and caught it on fire in the 2000 block of Yorktowne Drive. Time of event was estimated based on radar.
Emergency management surveyed reports of damage in the Laplace area. Between their reports of siding off a house as well as unsecured objects and Hurricane Ida debris moved around, and pictures, videos and radar imagery, this has been determined to be straight line wind damage estimated at 60-65mph.
