Severe thunderstorms moved across north and central Lousiana during the late morning and afternoon producing scattered reports of wind damaged and hail. The highest recorded wind gust was 69 mph at Ruston. The most significant wind damage occurred near Martin where 3 houses were damaged when thunderstorm wind gust downed numerous trees, some falling on house. Most of other damage reported was confined to downed trees, some falling across county roads blocking traffic.
