The wind storm that moved out of eastern Richland Parish continued eastward into Madison Parish and caused significant damage from around Tendal to Tallulah. A few hundred trees were blown down along with dozens of power lines and power poles. In Tallulah, the hardest hit area of town was between the railroad tracks and the interstate. Many large trees were blown down, some on homes, along with more power lines.
Widespread trees and power lines were blown down in a swath across northern portions of the parish including some which fell onto US Highway 80 and some in and around Tallulah. A peak wind gust of 59 mph was measured by a private weather station at the Tallulah Airport.
Widespread trees and power lines were blown down in a swath across southern portions of the parish including some which fell onto LA Highway 577 and one which fell onto a home in Delta. A peak wind gust of 60 mph was measured at the Vicksburg Tallulah Regional Airport ASOS site KTVR.
