Over 20 reports of hail 0.75 to 1.00 inch in diameter were received via NSSL's SHAVE project. An isolated report of 1.5 inch hail was noted 9 miles south of Bogue. A large supercell thunderstorm moved slowly across southern Graham county and was responsible for the reports.
