A thunderstorm produced a wind gust to 68 mph at the Grundy County Emergency Services Office. Hail ranging from 0.25 to 0.75 inch in diameter fell in the area. Trees and power lines were damaged by high winds and lightning. Flooding of roads was casued by 1.43 inches of rail falling in 35 minutes.
