What the reports say

Winds blew three large trees over onto a house that used to be a funeral home. Several other homes and businesses were damaged by fallen trees. Also, an airport hanger was damaged. Crops in the area sustained wind and hail damage. Damage was estimated around $110,000 for properties and around $35,000 in crop damage.
Significant tree and structure damage was reported. Three post frame buildings received structural damage, several outbuildings were damaged or destroyed, and a mobile home was overturned. Many other buildings received broken windows and shingle damage.
As storms moved across Edgar County, numerous tree limbs were blown down. One tree was blown down 5 miles south of Paris on Route 1 and another one was blown down on US Route 150 just east of Paris. No injuries were reported.
