The Laurens County Emergency Management Director observed half-dollar-sized hail in the Dublin area. WSR-88D radar data suggests that hail quarter to half-dollar size likely continued east of Dublin to south of Brewton. Damage was reported to vehicles in the area.
The Rockledge Post Office and the public reported nickel to quarter sized hail in a swath from Rocklege to near the Laurens/Treutlen County line. Power was out in Rockledge. A dog house sustained minor damage with the larger hail.
A storm spotter observed quarter-sized hail across northern Laurens county just south of Tuckers Crossroads. WSR-88D radar data suggests that similar-sized hail fell from this area east-southeast to the Johnson county line near Scott, where nickel-sized hail was reported.
