An Emergency Manager reported two 3 feet diameter oak trees knocked down on Corinth Church Road. The Emergency Manager also reported tree limbs down and a small portable shop overturned on Old Dixie highway. The Emergency Manager also reported that an anchored oil tank was overturned and a roof was torn off a barn on Bird Road.
Effingham County Emergency Management reported numerous trees and power lines down in the southern portion of Effingham County, primarily east of Eden to the Chatham County line with several roads blocked. A tree fell on a home and caused structural damage in the 100 block of Old Lake Road. Another tree fell on a home and caused structural damage in the 300 block of St. Paul Road. Also, another tree fell on a home and caused structural damage in the 200 block of Meadowood Lane.
A Effingham County emergency manager reported a tree down and through the window of a home on Exley Loop, a second tree down on Dogwood Drive, a third tree down on a carport crushing a car, a fourth tree down on another home, and damage to a canopy on Oak Street. The public also reported roof shingles blown off a home and damage to two pear trees at a residence on Hampton Court in Paddleford Plantation.
