City of Grovetown reports numerous trees and powerlines down in several areas of the city. Some impacted locations include Railroad Avenue, Harlem Grovetown Road in the area of Fire Station #2, Green Street at W Robinson Avenue, and the area of 5100 Wrightsboro Road.
Significant damage was done to a dock, 20 boats were destroyed, and another|20 to 30 boats suffered extensive damage, at Pointes West Army Resort in the Fort Gordon Recreational Area on Clarks Hill Lake. Several pine trees were also snapped, all facing easterly. 2 persons, who were on the dock at the time, suffered minor injuries as the dock overturned.
Several trees down and large limbs on campground roads. Several tents damaged and two campers slightly damaged by downed large limbs. Reported by park offials at the Ridge Rd. Corps of Engineers campground on Lake Thurmond.
