Bass boat would not start as thunderstorm approached and was taken under tow by a pontoon boat. Bass boat filled with water and sank. Victim could not be located due to low visibility, wind and waves. Victim was not wearing a life jacket.
A tree fell across State Rd 100 near Holloway Rd obstructing the road. Multiple trees and powerlines were reported down in the Florahome area especially along Thornton Ln, Coral Farms Rd, and north County Rd 315. Time was estimated by radar.
Putnam County Emergency Management relayed photos of several snapped and downed trees along Lura LN near the Clay/Putnam County border to the north of Florahome. Time of damage based on | radar data. The cost of damage was unknown but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.
