A trained spotter reported quarter-sized hail on Palm Parkway. The spotter reported the hail fell for about 10 minutes. Additional reports of hail occurring at the same time were received near the outlet mall at Vineland Avenue and Interstate 4.
Golf ball sized hail was reported in the Pine Hills area by a member of the public. Various other reports were received from the public, trained spotters, and emergency managers of hail ranging from quarter to golf ball size from Winter Garden/Ocoee to the Maitland/Eatonville area.
Broadcast media relayed a report of a viewer-submitted photo of quarter-sized hail near the West Sand Lake Road (State Road 482) area. The location was approximated to be between the Florida Turnpike and South Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. Highway 441).
