Downburst wind blew half a roof off of a mobile home in Palmetto. One tree was blown down and another fell over after being struck by lightning. The trees damaged a mobile home and a house in Bradenton. Funnel clouds were also sighted near Bradenton.
The public reported, through Bay News Nine Cable, dime sized hail, from the intersection of Interstate 75 and State Road 43 in Ellenton, to the Sun Key Village subdivision along U.S. Highway 41 near the Manatee-Hillsborough county border.
