Straight-line winds downed large trees and power lines east and west of Pinhook Road and Highway 59. One shed was destroyed when its roof collapsed and another was damaged due to a fallen tree. A pontoon boat was slightly damaged by flying debris. A few road signs bent just south of County Road 259 and Highway 59. Reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff.
The Jefferson County EMA reported numerous downed trees and power lines just north and east of Monticello. Widespread power outages affected northern portions of the county. The county EOC was on generator power for several hours.
The NWS surveyed the area around Lloyd, FL at I-10 near exit 215. The damage in this area was limited to a few trees and an awning to a gas station just off FL highway 59, and was deemed consistent with straight line winds estimated around 65 mph.
