The Whiskey River Saloon in Starke had lost a portion of its roof and had major water damage inside. Numerous trees and power lines were blown down across the county including in the Starke City limits. The time of damage was based on radar.
Apparent Rear Flank downdraft contacted ground. damage for about 1 mile downstream with a 100 yard wide swath. most debris laid out in straight line path with some lighter porch materials blown to the south. Likely the lighter materials were caught in an eddy. Trees and power lines downed, some roof damage with an open shed-garage area blown over.
A tree limb fell through a home one mile east of Starke on State Road 100 due to thunderstorm winds. Another tree limb fell through the roof at the Pine Forest Apartments in Starke. At the time of the damage report, over 1,000 people were without power in the Starke area due to damaged power lines.
