Intense microburst winds caused significant damage to a barn and farmhouse. The wind tore the roof off the barn, throwing large pieces of sheet metal across a nearby road. It may have also lifted the roof off the farmhouse and set it back down.
Thunderstorm winds damaged trailer homes in Fort Lupton (25 miles northeast of Denver), as well as downing power lines across portions of Weld County. A four-foot bug zapper was knocked down and carried 100 feet in Roggen (14-miles southeast of Greeley).
Thunderstorm winds broke eight-inch-diameter tree branches in Windsor (14 miles southeast of Fort Collins). Also, heavy rain filled a roadside ditch in Windsor, and eroded 25 feet of gravel roadway. Heavy rain flooded the basements of two homes in Jamestown (31 miles south southeast of Fort Collins). Thunderstorm winds, estimated at 60 mph (52 knots) broke tree limbs in Jamestown.
