Strong thunderstorm wind produced a swath of damage at least three miles wide from southwest of Hindsville to northeast of Clifty. Within this swath of damage, numerous homes were damaged, a mobile home was destroyed, businesses were damaged, outbuildings were destroyed, and numerous trees and power poles were snapped.
A severe thunderstorm produced strong winds which destroyed 1 barn and badly damaged 2 other barns 1 mile south of Huntsville. The winds also caused roof damage to several houses and uprooted trees 1 mile south of Huntsville. The storm also produced strong winds which blew down trees near Wesley.
Severe thunderstorms moved across northwest Arkansas during the evening of July 25th and very early morning of July 26th. Strong thunderstorm winds blew the roofs off turkey houses in Pettigrew, and trees and power lines were blown down in Sulphur Springs. Power lines were blown down in Kingston and in Wesley, and trees were blown down six miles north of Eureka Springs, in Siloam Springs, five miles west of West Fork, in Van Buren, in Barling, and two miles north of Combs. Trees were blown down by 70 mph winds in Bentonville, and strong thunderstorm winds downed several large tree limbs in Lowell. Thunderstorm winds gusted to 70 mph in Hiwasse and to 60 mph in Springdale and in Winslow.
