Heavy rain led to the development of flash flooding on the evening of the 23rd. Numerous county roads were flooded. One swift water rescue was necessary in Malvern. One lane of Arkansas Highway 7 was partially blocked at the intersection with Arkansas Highway 84.
As a result of heavy rains, releases from Remmel Dam were periodically increased from the evening of the 25th into the morning of the 26th. Flows from the dam eventually exceeded 56,000 cubic feet per second. Lowland flooding resulted. Some roads flooded as well.
