What the reports say

Much of the roof was removed from one house, and several other houses were damaged. A farm shop was destroyed, as was a metal building. Trees and power lines were blown down, a carport fell on a pickup truck, and a fence was blown down.
Damage across southern Desha County was determined to be the result of winds estimated at 75 to 80 mph. Several large trees were blown down or snapped and power lines and power poles were damaged heavily as well…blocking roads.
