What the reports say

Numerous trees and power lines were knocked down throughout the county. Several trees were blown onto homes causing major damage. Dime size hail was reported in a few locations. In Langtown just north of Moulton at 1538 CST, a woman was blown off the front porch of her home. She was subsequently hospitalized with a broken arm.
Several chicken houses were leveled and eight trees were snapped near the base by thunderstorm winds. Several homes sustained minor roof damage with shingles being blown away near the intersection of County roads 135 and 136 in the Wolf Springs Alabama community.
Wind snapped trees and damaged several buildings in Moulton during a strong thunderstorm. Over 2,000 power customers were without power in the central sections of Lawrence County. Although most of the damage was reported in and around Moulton, scattered trees were reported down all across the county.
