Quarter-size hail was reported in Colorado City by a local radio station. Hail up to tennis ball-size covered the ground at Dunn in Scurry County. It also damaged crops. The Scurry County Sheriff's Office reported a brief tornado at Hermleigh that did not cause damage. However, a tornado touched down at Hobbs in western Fisher County at 1840 CST. It caused considerable damage to the co-op school. It also damaged a farm house and green houses, snapped power poles, and downed trees, signs, and fences. Total damage from this tornado was estimated at $50,000. Golf ball-size hail was reported at Roscoe by the Department of Public Safety. Schleicher County,13,0630CST- *,,0900CST,,,0,0,0,0,Flash Flood Farm-to-Market roads 2129 and 915 were closed in western Schleicher County due to water over the roads.
