Golf ball-size hail was reported in the Anetta area 18 inches deep with drifts three feet deep. County roads became iced over resulting in accidents and cars sliding into bar ditches. The area was described as "looking like the dead of winter with vegetation totally stripped from trees and shrubs and the ground white as if covered with snow". Total damage across Parker County for this storm was estimated at $20 million.
