The Lavaca Police Department relayed a report from the Moulton Police Department of dime- to penny-sized hail in Moulton. The local newspaper reported a dozen or more trees were uprooted 10 miles east of Halletsville between 1915 CST and 1930 CST. Golf ball-sized hail was reported at New Kinkler at 1915 CST with quarter-sized hail in Halletsville at 1941 CST.
Pea to quarter-size hail was reported near Moulton. Thunderstorm winds uprooted a few trees in the Town. The trees fell on to some power lines and a fence. The County Sheriff's Office reported nickel-size hail between Yoakum and Shiner.
