Softball-size hail was reported two miles south of downtown Marshall. 3 SW Scottsville,11,1945CST,,,0,0,0,0,Hail (1.75) 3 SW Scottsville,11,1945CST,,,0,0,0,0,Thunderstorm Winds Numerous trees were blown down by thunderstorm winds. 2 E Scottsville,11,1957CST,,,0,0,2,0,Thunderstorm Winds Trees were blown down by strong winds. 3 N Scottsville,11,2005CST,,,0,0,0,0,Hail (1.75) 3 N Scottsville,11,2005CST,,,0,0,0,0,Thunderstorm Winds (G55)
Thunderstorm winds estimated at 70 miles an hour raked the south side of Marshall. Extensive roof damage was reported due to trees blown down onto homes and cars. One person was injured and admitted to the hospital. Other damage was done to commercial buildings, an apartment complex and 40 to 50 power line poles were blown down.
