A thunderstorm produced wind damage in Garden City as well as across portions of Glasscock County. This damage included multiple downed power poles, uprooted trees, shingles and roof damage, and numerous cases of wind-driven hail damage. Given that damage was all found oriented in a similar direction across the surveyed area, the damage was determined to be caused by strong downdraft winds. The cost of damage is a very rough estimate.
A thunderstorm moved across Glasscock County and produced wind damage twelve miles north of Garden City. A roof was blown off, a porch was destroyed, and a fence was blown down. The cost of damage is a very rough estimate.
A thunderstorm moved across Glasscock County and produced wind damage 13 miles west of Garden City. Several power poles were blown down along State Highway 158 at State Highway 137. The cost of damage is a very rough estimate.
