Numerous flooding reports were received from Allen and McKinney. Industrial Boulevard east of Highway 5 in McKinney was shut down due to flooding. Rain weakened the support beams of a bridge over Sloan Creek in Fairview, making it unsafe to use.
The U.S. Highway 75 frontage road underpass was flooded just north of Weston Road. Several other intersections were closed throughout the day, including Howell and College Streets, Church Street and McDonald Avenue, CR 123 and Lake Forest Drive, and portions of Hardin and Woodlawn Roads. At least one home sustained water damage.
Lucas residents along Rockridge Road near Lake Lavon were evacuated due to floodwaters. Two other roads were barricaded in Lucas. Flash flooding was also reported near Wylie at FM 544 between Regency Drive and Hooper Road and McMillan Road between FM 1378 and North Lewis Lane.
