Severe thunderstorms moved across western parts of North Texas through the afternoon and evening. Hail as large as quarters was reported in Wilbarger County one mile north of Lockett, in Baylor County eight miles north of Mabelle, and in Wichita County one mile north of Holliday. Severe thunderstorm winds also blew a three foot diameter tree onto a house in Burkburnett in Wichita County.

Hail as large as quarters was reported in Wilbarger County one mile north of Lockett, in Baylor County eight miles north of Mabelle, and in Wichita County one mile north of Holliday. Severe thunderstorm winds also blew a three foot diameter tree onto a house in Burkburnett in Wichita County.
Thunderstorms in the western part of North Texas during the afternoon and evening hours on the 29th produced one tornado and hail up to baseball-size. A tornado touched down five miles southwest of Scotland at 1630 CST. This F0 tornado occurred in an open field and no damage was reported.
