Frank Street in front of St. Luke's Memorial Hospital was flooded and closed. Ellis Avenue and Angelina Street, Ellis Avenue and Raguet Street, Kurth Drive at the Ellen Trout Drive underpass, and all of Denman Avenue inside the loop were also closed due to flooding.
Numerous roads were closed due to flooding, including Kurth Drive, Tulane Street, Frank Avenue, Raguet Street, Ellis Avenue, Kiln Avenue, Bynum Street, Hill Street, and Douglas Street. Several vehicles were stalled in high water at various intersections in Lufkin.
FM 324 South near the railroad tracks in Southern Angelina County was flooded and closed. FM 841 at FM 718, as well as FM 1475 at Roger Nerren Road were flooded. FM 1818 at Buttermilk Road, FM 1475 at Buck Creek, and FM 58 about 8 miles south of Highway 287 were also flooded.
