Straight line winds produced damage to an awning at the Anderson Fruit Stand and to the nursery located across the road from the Anderson Fruit Stand. In addition, a trailer was blown over and demolished. The trailer was located nearby.
Straight-line winds damaged the roof of a mobile home on Highway 18 north of Grand Junction. Trees were uprooted along Highway 18 along with Westfork and Edwin Roads. A house suffered roof damage on Edwin Road and a mobile home suffered roof damage on Van Buren Road. An outbuilding also had major roof damage on Van Buren Road.
Several trees were down on houses and mobile homes in Grand Junction. Trees were knocked down across roadways. Power lines were knocked down. A mobile home was blown off its foundation on Zinnia Lane and four kids were temporarily trapped inside. A nearby mobile home sustained roof damage.
