A NWS Storm Survey team determined that thunderstorm downburst winds, estimated at 70 to 80 mph, produced wind damage on two adjacent properties along Shiloh Rd. The damage included several pine trees and a few cedar trees snapped and uprooted, a 70 foot sheet metal building overturned and moved about 50 feet from its original location, and a pump well house destroyed along with some damage to an adjacent metal building. In addition, a home had some roof damage to the fascia and shingles. The strong winds also bent over a 30 foot aluminum flag poll with flag attached and blew over a gas grill.
Law enforcement reported several trees down along Forrest Hills Road near the intersection of Ridge Spring Highway, Emory Road near the intersection of Forrest Hills Road, Mt. Willing Road near the intersection of High Point Road, across Highway 378 and across Old Golf Course Road.
