A Jasper County emergency manager reported trees down on two homes in Lakeview Terrace off Grays Highway. Trees also fell on two homes along Malphrus Road near Mark Road and Carson Road. Some trees were snapped off approximately 40 ft off the ground and several power lines were also down around the area.
Multiple trees and large tree limbs reported down around Ridgeland. Some of the trees and limbs were down on roadways and others were on power lines. Also, the sign of a fast food restaurant was blown out. Damage reports were relayed via email and pictures of the damage are available on the town of Ridgeland Facebook page.
