Severe thunderstorm downburst winds produced a swath of damage which included numerous trees down in several locations, generally stretching from near Lebanon south to areas SW of Winnsboro, generally along and just east of Jackson Creek Rd. Trees were downed on Armstrong Rd, Old Airport Rd and Jackson Creek Rd, Hwy 213 at Jackson Creek Rd, Corona Dr, Reservoir Rd and New Hope Rd, and at Chapell Town Rd at Reservoir Rd (SC S-20-70) where over a dozen trees were downed. Times estimated.
In the Sumter National Forest, three trees were damaged near the intersection of Federal Rd and Glovers Rd. The trunk of a weakened cedar tree was split at the ground. There were two medium sized pine trees that were uprooted approximately 200 feet apart.
