Numerous reports of trees blown down in the Carolina Bay subdivision received via social media. Trees were down in several places in the neighborhood, though most of the damage was concentrated around Carolina Bay Park. One large tree was down on a house causing major damage.
A portion of a roof was torn off of the Marshview Villas on Mariners Cay Drive near Folly Beach. Several Vehicles in the parking lot needed to be towed away due to the damage from the debris. The screen of a screened in porch was also removed. The same storm knocked down a light pole on the Westbury Bridge.
The Post and Courier reported that the historic White Bridge at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens was seriously damaged by a fallen tree. The large tree landed on the bridge, warped the deck, caused major structural cracks and destroyed most of the railing and posts on the left side of the ramp.
