An area of thunderstorms, some locally severe, developed ahead of a cold front as it moved across central and northeastern South Carolina. Thunderstorm winds blew down trees and heavily damaged a barn 2 miles south of Blenheim in Marlboro County. Downed trees blocked a road at Jamison in Orangeburg County. Wind also downed power lines at Manning in Clarendon County. Small hail reported in northeast Berkeley County.
