Multiple areas experienced flooded due to back building storm. Richey Run broke from its banks and flooded Route 208, Route 338 was closed between Ritts Station Road to Blairs Corners Road, and roadways near the county line was affected.
Emergency manager reported fast moving water. Several roads north of Clarion were flooded. Route 322 was closed from the intersection at Route 66 to Liberty Street in Clarion Boro. Also, Toby Hill Bridge was closed due to flash flooding.
Several slow-moving thunderstorms passing over northern Clarion County produced rainfall totals of well over 2 inches. One rain gage in the Lucinda area measured 4.5 inches; another in the Fryburg area measured 4.27 inches. Several reports of basement flooding were received from this sparsely populated area.
