Run-off from the heavier rain earlier in the day on the 27th caused flooding along the east branch and main stem of the Brandywine Creek. The East Branch of the Brandywine Creek at Downingtown experienced moderate flooding. It was above its 7 foot flood stage from 415 a.m. EDT through 1105 a.m. EDT on the 27th. It crested at 10.51 feet at 745 a.m. EDT. The main stem of the Brandywine Creek at Chadds Ford (Delaware County) was above its 9 foot flood stage from 1155 a.m. EDT through 524 p.m. EDT on the 27th. It crested at 9.66 feet at 3 p.m. EDT. |Storm totals included 3.92 inches in Honey Brook, 3.30 inches in Glenmoore and 2.63 inches in East Nantmeal Township.|

Event precipitation totals included 2.48 inches in West Chester, 2.22 inches in Unionville, 1.99 inches in Kenneth Square, 1.59 inches in Honey Brook and 1.52 inches in Glenmoore.
