The Nehalem River at Foss reached major flood levels. There was widespread flooding and damage in the city of Nehalem, and a trailer park was evacuated. Also along the Nehalem River, a 54-year old woman drove her truck into flooded waters and was swept away. The body was never found, and the woman was presumed dead.
The Wilson River at Tillamook reached major flood levels. Many homes and businesses were damaged by flood waters. A trailer park was evacuated, which sustained significant property damage. NOTE: Damage estimates are for the entire county of Tillamook.
The Wilson River near Tillamook crested at 22.8 feet on November 7th, with flood stage at 12.0 feet and major flood stage at 19.0 feet. This set a record flood stage for the gauge, and caused major flooding problems for the city of Tillamook, down river from the gauge.
