Thunderstorms in southwest, south-central, and central Oklahoma during the evening hours on the 7th and the early morning hours on the 8th produced hail up to baseball-size and damaging winds. Strong thunderstorm winds downed three telephone poles five miles south-southwest of Randlett. Nickel-size hail covered the ground three miles west-northwest of Will Rogers Airport. Dime-size hail covered the ground just south of Pocasset and seven miles northwest of Chickasha. Quarter-size hail accumulated to a depth of two inches in Davidson.
