Widespread wind damage was reported in Marlow. Numerous trees were blown down with power lines and poles downed. Hail up to the size of tennis balls combined with the winds also damaged roofs and took out windows of homes. Wind gusts were estimated to be greater than 70 mph. Monetary damage estimated.
Multiple social media images showing thunderstorm wind damage in and around the community of Loco. This included a metal and wood barn destroyed and a travel trailer damaged. Event time is estimated from radar observations.
Severe winds estimated at 75 to 80 mph caused widespread tree, limb, and structural damage in Comanche. Significant damage occurred at the high school gymnasium, where a large window was blown in and northeast portions of the roof were torn off. Damage to the gym was assessed at $22,600. At a city park, the fuel tanks were ripped from a plane on permanent display, and in downtown the siding was torn from a warehouse building. Carports and large trees also suffered major damage throughout town.
