The hail was reported near McMurtry Road and Country Club on the northwest side of Stillwater. Nickel size hail was reported at 80th and Western Road on the south side of Stillwater, as well as near the intersection of Highways 51 and 51C.
Isolated severe thunderstorms developed across Payne County during the early evening hours of the 4th. The storms produced dime size hail and damaging winds. Severe thunderstorm winds ripped the front door off the Police Department building at Cushing.
