There were several reports of damaging and severe thunderstorm winds from Castle, east-southeast through Okemah, to Weleetka. Starting in Castle, many trees were damaged, including a 125-foot tall cottonwood tree that was uprooted. Down the road in Okemah, numerous trees, tree limbs and several power lines were blown down. Three miles east of Okemah, an Oklahoma mesonet site measured a wind gust to 80 miles an hour at 715 PM CDT. In Weleetka, large trees were blown down.
