Significant roadway flooding occurred near the intersection of Southeast 12th Street and Eastern Avenue due to water rise from a nearby small creek. Two vehicles were swept off the road and pinned beneath the Eastern Avenue bridge. Two fatalities were reported as a result of this incident. Event time is approximate.
Multiple confirmations of flooding in and around the community of Lexington due to water rise from Willow Creek and a tributary to the Canadian River. Broadcast media showed images of multiple water rescues at residences. Event time is approximate, and residual flooding may have continued beyond the end time.
Heavy rainfall caused Chouteau Creek to rise out of its banks, causing extensive roadway flooding along Slaughterville Road. At least one water rescue occurred near the intersection of Slaughterville Road and 84th Street. Social media video. Event time is approximate.
