A tornado touched down on the north side of Medina and moved through a housing development. Five homes were significantly damaged and about 20 others suffered minor damage. The tornado passed over two small lakes and damaged recreational boats and boat docks. Trees and power lines were downed. A residential fence was blown away, fence posts and all.
