What the reports say

Penny size hail was reported by public. A Cooperative Observer located two miles southeast of Centerburg reported that hail from this storm accumulated on the ground to approximately a half inch in depth. Many trees lost leaves from the hail, and there was some crop damage.
Large hail fell. A 41-year-old man was struck by lightning while working inside his new home which was under construction. The house appears to have been struck first and the charge passed through the man causing minor burns.
