Damage occurred to trees, crops, and buildings due to damaging thunderstorm winds. At the first location, healthy pine trees were uprooted, a fruit tree was snapped in half, and a walnut tree was also snapped in half. Across the road there was damage to a corn field. Additional locations around the area reported corn damage and tree damage. In addition to the crop damage, a house had damage to the porch, a silo was damaged, and a barn was destroyed.
Several mobile homes were damaged in a trailer park. Awnings were ripped off and basketball poles and other ground fixtures were damaged. A few 2×4 wooden planks were driven into a trailer, causing one injury. Power poles and trees were also downed in the area.
Numerous trees, large limbs and power poles were downed across the county, including thirty trees that fell along the southeast shore of Grand Lake Saint Marys. Several trees were knocked down on homes and vehicles in Saint Marys, causing major damage. A barn had siding peeled off east of Saint Marys.
