Multiple trees were blown down throughout the neighborhood. 580 customers were without power between Chocowinity and Washington due to tree limbs falling on power lines. Trees and limbs were reportedly blown down around the Roanoke Christian Camp damaging playground equipment.
Scattered thunderstorms produced dime- to golf ball-size hail across eastern North Carolina. In LaGrange trees were down and porches were knocked off mobile homes. In Blounts Creek strong winds knocked eight large pine trees to the ground.
