Large hail was reported from Jamesville through Syracuse. Smaller hail up to half inch diameter was reported in DeWitt and Camillus. Thunderstorm winds also brought a tree down onto the front porch of a house on Peters Street in Syracuse.
A thunderstorm briefly reached severe limits during the predawn hours over eastern sections of the Syracuse metropolitan area. Skywarn spotters observed hail to one inch in diamater in De Witt and dime sized hail in Fayetteville.
